advantage:
1. basically own by government, it would not fail
2. very high dividend return, average 5.x% in last few years.

normally $0.08 per year, with current price that is 5.4% annual return.
3. SG has basically no tax for foreign stock investor.

fair:
1. Its raise more than hong kong CCL. its raise 2.9 time from 2008 worse time while CCL raised 2.6 from worse than from 2008. Well, 823 has raised 4.19 times from the worst price in 2008.

disvantage:
1. You cannot just walk in a 823 mall and feel its business situation.
2. You need to transfer HK$ to SG$, and use a brokerage firm that can buy global stock.
